My clients are dedicated athletes grappling with eating disorders or OCD, facing the dual challenges of their mental health and a desire to perform at their peak. They are often overwhelmed by the demands of their sport, which can blur the lines between passion and harmful habits. Their primary goal is to reclaim their lives and their love for their sport, seeking not just recovery, but transformation—an opportunity to realign their beliefs and values towards a healthier, more balanced existence. They crave empowerment, resilience, and the ability to thrive both in their athletic pursuits and personal lives.
Constant low-spoon days, chronic fatigue, a sense of impending doom, or questions around identity may be what brought you here today. You’ve been doing the best you can, but something isn’t working anymore. You don’t have to keep carrying it alone. I’m Kailey, a Licensed Professional Counselor and Board-Certified Art therapist. I specialize in working with chronic illness, LGBTQIA+ clients, and trauma. I help people using a blend of art therapy and DBT-informed skills. Through guided creative work, we slow things down, make emotions and patterns easier to work with, and build tools for regulation, without relying on the “right” words. The process is intentional, supportive, and paced with care. You don’t need to be artistic or know exactly what to say to start. Therapy with me is collaborative and paced with care, focused on creating a space that feels contained and supportive rather than overwhelming. If you’re looking for a creative, structured approach to therapy that meets you where you are, I invite you to reach out.
I have spent the last 6 years working with young adults in the community. Many are in a new place and dealing with transition in their lives. Living far away from home and having to "adult" can be overwhelming. Figuring out what you want to do after college can also be stressful. I would help to provide support during times. I am a playful therapist that has a genuine, person centered approach. I am not a blank faced therapist. I believe that the biggest intervention is the therapeutic alliance that is created between the therapist and client. Building trust, being approachable and connecting with my client's, these things are very important to me. I have lived experience of walking through this community as a Black queer women; this experience helps me connect and build rapport with BIPOC and queer folx. I have experience treating mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychosis and pre psychotic symptoms. I love supporting people with creating healthy relationships and boundaries, working on assertive and healthy communication. Please check out my website, there you can schedule a free 15 consultation. I would love to meet you to see if we would be a good fit!

Are you struggling to heal due to trauma, disabling condition(s), chronic illness, loss of someone close? Or perhaps you are having a hard time adapting to a change in your life or depression or anxiety? Have you tried to solve the problems in your life on your own & realized you need help from someone else? If you answered yes to any of these questions, then you have made the right choice by being here. I know seeking help can be hard & I am so glad you have taken the courageous first steps. Together we can work to equip you with the necessary tools to help you face & overcome your challenges.
I value authenticity, empathy, and self-awareness, both for myself and my clients, and as a critical part of the therapeutic process (I also take advantage of the healing power of laughter whenever possible!). I aim to normalize and validate my clients’ experiences without judgment, and above all, provide the most basic of human needs: to feel seen and heard. My name is Stephanie (Stephanie or Stevie is fine) and I have been providing therapy in NJ exclusively via telehealth for about the last 4 years (prior to that, in person). If you have been struggling with symptoms of depression or anxiety, particularly if they are related to a traumatic experience, I would love the opportunity to work with you to reduce your mood- or anxiety-related symptoms, and to help you to experience a present that is not overshadowed or negatively impacted by situations and events from your past. I love working with women ages 20 to 30-something who are still in academia or just starting out in their careers, but also love working with women of any age. I frequently work with survivors of child sexual abuse, as well as those struggling with issues related to self-esteem/self-worth, but have treated many others as well. While experience and education are an absolute necessity to do this work, I believe that my lived experience has had a profound impact on both my ability to build strong therapeutic relationships and to be a more effective therapist. My ability to connect with clients has only been strengthened by my personal experiences with child sexual abuse, growing up with a parent with serious mental illness, and managing chronic depression since childhood, as well as through supporting loved ones through the complexities of mental illness, suicide, sexual abuse, special needs, chronic illness/pain, estrangement, dissociation, mood disorders, autism spectrum disorder, AD/HD, divorce, parenting, emotional and financial abuse, and coercive control. While I am not generally a "glass half full" person, nor do I necessarily believe that things happen for a reason, I do believe that if you're smart, you'll look for something to learn from the pain and from the healing. Doing so has lead me to this work and I want so much to show you what is on the other side of your pain. My background has also provided me with experiences that can be drawn upon when building relationships with clients. I have had the privilege of having known, grown up with, and cared deeply about people from a variety of backgrounds, races, nationalities, gender identities, sexual orientations, etc. In terms of strengths, I am unfailingly authentic, resilient, intelligent, curious, non-judgmental, and (at least in my personal life) hilarious ;) And by the way, all of those strengths? They were not so much developed as they were uncovered…through therapy. :) Please visit my website for blog and feedback from clients: www.of2mindstherapy.com *My practice is focused primarily on treating adults who identify as female as well as being a welcoming space for members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I do not currently treat cisgender heterosexual males, children or adolescents. I am currently licensed to treat clients in NJ, CT, OR, and WA Please reach out to see if your insurance is accepted. I love providing support to students navigating the challenges unique to the college years. I work well with both traditional and non-traditional students. I offer a warm and empathic connection, with plenty of care balanced with humor. I enjoy building a therapeutic connection and assisting my clients in their own growth and development.
My clients seek me out for many different reasons, including (but not limited to) mood, anxiety, and stress disorders; adjustment difficulties; and relationship and family-of-origin concerns. Sometimes, they just know they're stuck or lost and need help. I use evidence-based approaches (i.e., what we know to be effective with certain concerns) to help clients gain awareness of the interactions between their thoughts, feelings, and behavior; recognize the influences that have shaped these patterns; and develop the knowledge and skills to respond, rather than react, to them. I specialize in working with trauma, anxiety, and disordered eating. To support clients in these areas, I am certified in EMDR, trained in brainspotting, and a level 2-trained Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist. Additionally, I work from a non-dieting, Health At Every Size framework that is affirming of body size diversity. I offer a safe, collaborative space that balances compassion and challenge, within which we can work together to understand the concerns you are experiencing and identify new, more effective ways to meet your needs. If you think I might be a good fit for you, please call, text, or email me to schedule a free, 20-minute phone consultation.

Clients who come to my practice are going through life transitions - adjustments to school and moving, relationship concerns, and making life decisions. In addition to traditional therapy practices, I also practice (and teach) ecotherapy - a method of treatment that includes nature in the process. For some people this means we hold our sessions outdoors. For others, we include 'nature prescriptions' in their work outside of the office appointment. These methods are especially helpful for those who love the outdoors, and for clients struggling with depression and anxiety issues.

My therapeutic approach centers on the holistic well-being of individuals, with a particular focus on working with millennial female clients. My aim is to facilitate, through a strengths-based approach, your therapeutic journey towards enhanced well-being and deeper insight into your thoughts and behaviors (as well as understanding the roots of our cognitive and behavioral patterns). While my therapeutic toolbox encompasses Reiki, EMDR, IFS, and mindfulness techniques, I customize therapy sessions to suit each individual, allowing for flexibility beyond these established frameworks. I'm licensed in CO, TX, MT, OR, ID, WY, WA, and FL.

I believe psychotherapy is a project between two people where sources of emotional pain and anguish are discovered and revisited, where what has been denied, unimagined, forgotten, or come to be unspeakable can become imagined, felt and spoken. The process generates an understanding of ourselves that is vastly more dynamic than what our relationships, politics and culture allow, leading to the easing of suffering and the creation of new possibilities. The therapy I provide is open, an invitation. There is a freedom to it that takes courage and tolerance. It can involve a deconstructive or constructive momentum where you may not necessarily be told what to say or how to feel. It is an invitation to notice what comes to mind and what does not. What can emerge in a therapy is dynamic. It can surprise, frustrate, thrill and provoke. These experiences are worked through together. As you bring yourself as fully as possible to what confuses or afflicts, I will help guide you with my understanding of the mind toward a life of growth and healing.

Dr. Rademan starts treatment with a thorough and detailed inventory of life experiences that could be contributing to current concerns. She also explores body pain and chronic health concerns as those can be impacted by trauma and emotional wounding. Just like with physical health, mental health can be impacted by earlier 'injuries' that flare up later in life. Many people have been in and out of therapy throughout their life and haven't found sustained relief due to not healing the root issue or concern. At the foundation of treatment, Dr. Rademan utilizes a trauma and cognitive focused framework. Trauma is not only major violence or death, but can also be a loss of a relationship, not getting your needs met when you were a child, or ongoing major stressors. Trauma can be described as anything that significantly changed the way you view yourself or the world.
We all look for empathy, understanding, and connection in our lives and relationships. When moving through the world with a non-dominant identity, it can be difficult to find acceptance, confidence and a sense of belonging. As a biracial Chamoru woman, I have been navigating these struggles throughout my life. I hope to work with others who are looking to cultivate relationships with their core identities, while navigating the challenges related to systems of oppression. My clients often identify as people of color, LGBTQ+, disabled, and/or chronically ill, as well as part of nerd, geek or techie communities. I work best with clients who are looking to build a warm, trusting, and collaborative counseling relationship. Relationships can be powerful and I believe that healing begins with feeling that you are being genuinely heard and cared for. If you think we may be a good fit, I warmly encourage you to reach out! I provide a free consultation appointment where we can get to know each other and assess your needs. Currently, I only offer online counseling to Oregon residents.
