We are licensed clinical psychologists who have been trained in several different therapy modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and humanistic approaches. Further, we strive to maintain knowledge of various cultures and diversity considerations and an awareness of the impact culture and diversity can have on daily experiences to best support you. We provide collaborative treatment planning and focus our sessions on what is most important to you. Our sessions offer a balanced mix of emotional processing and skill work that you can apply to your everyday life. I am a board-certified psychiatrist dedicated to improving my patients' well-being through personalized treatment plans. I completed both medical school and residency training at Oregon Health & Science University. When meeting with my patients, I adopt a holistic approach, considering the biological, psychological, and social factors that influence their mental health. My strategy integrates therapy and medications, as needed, to address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, life transitions, and relational challenges. My goal is to help you better understand your experiences and develop lifelong skills to achieve your personal goals long after our collaboration ends. Initially, I follow a consultative model where I spend 2 to 3 visits getting to know you. Then, through collaboration, we develop an appointment schedule that works to meet your needs. I typically conduct weekly therapy sessions to provide ongoing support and care for patients aged 18 and older. For referrals please fill out the form on my website.
If you are struggling to get through the day and need support, you're in the right place. Anxiety and depression can seem like the only voice of reason at times, and therapy is a great way to help sort through these confusing and distressing emotions. Understanding that change takes time and can be difficult is one of my core values as a person-centered therapist. I'm passionate about working with people from multicultural backgrounds, as well as those in the LGBTQIA2S+ community. I became a therapist because I enjoy helping people realize their true potential, and believe in the therapeutic process as a way to reach that. When outside of the office, I enjoy being outdoors and connecting with nature. I love to hike, ski, and go camping with my friends and family. Music is a big part of my life, and I enjoy playing the Ukulele. Life can be extremely difficult, and reaching out for help is the first step to healing. It's hard to go through symptoms alone. I'm currently taking on new clients ages 11 and up, both in person and via Telehealth.
The clients I work best with are ready to take an attitude of curiosity and reflection towards the patterns and beliefs that no longer serve them. You may be experiencing depression, anxiety, adjustment difficulties, or relationship stress and are hoping to relate to emotions in a healthier way or gain new self-perspective. Whether it is your first time in therapy or are returning to address matters from a new light, I believe in the innate wisdom of each person and approach our work humbly.
I have a real passion for working with folks during difficult life transitions such as going to college, experiencing heartbreak, pregnancy, and becoming a parent. I believe in the healing power of connection and offer a non-judgmental space where you can be yourself. We will work together to establish your therapy goals, and I will continually check in on our dynamic to make sure you feel supported and understood. Ultimately, you are the expert on yourself. I will show up with compassion, curiosity, and authenticity. Trying to find a therapist who feels right for you can be daunting. I offer a free 15 minute phone consultation where we can get to know each other, discuss your current concerns, and see if we are a good fit.
I am a licensed psychologist with strong specialties in treating folks with eating disorders and anxiety. I also have extensive experience working with people with depression and relationship concerns. I am a compassionate, direct therapist. I work collaboratively with my patients to set and achieve their goals. These goals often include increased self-acceptance, as well as changes in mood, thought patterns, and behaviors. My therapy is rooted in empirically based Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic theory, and neuroscience research. I develop customized strategies to help my patients manage painful thoughts and emotions, change unhelpful behaviors, and increase motivation. I also help cultivate self-compassion and self-understanding. Self-understanding promotes self-acceptance. When you allow yourself to be who you are, your inner critic has no leverage, and you move more easily toward a meaningful and fulfilling life. For most of my patients, this is the ultimate goal. Please go to my website for more information. My blog describes many of the concepts and strategies I use.

I love working with college students, especially those struggling with academic stress, anxiety, difficulty adjusting to this new season of life, and/or general life decisions. I can also work well with trauma and offer a Christian perspective upon request. I can't wait to get to know you!
Your care and well-being remains at the heart of our journey. My practice is based on providing a trusting and non-judgmental safe space for us to work towards your personal goals. You are capable and deserving of growing through what you've gone through! I collaborate with emerging adults with a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma recovery, self-worth and people-pleasing behaviors, stress management, and more! Whether you are facing significant life transitions, relational conflict, lost sense of self or wishing to expand your emotional awareness - My hope is to provide a therapeutic space that empowers you to reconnect with your own innate resiliency. In therapy, I often incorporate mindfulness techniques and parts of self work to help clients foster the connection between their mind and body to facilitate healing. I believe that through deeper understanding comes greater self-awareness and the ability to identify your truest needs, wants, wishes, desires and authentically express yourself. I recognize that you are the expert of your own life. As a trauma-informed, inclusive, and LGBTQIA2S+ affirming therapist, I value diversity and strive to create a safe and supporting environment where my clients feel hear and understood. I aim to provide a warm, curious, collaborative, person-centered and strengths-based approach with a sprinkle of humor!
Congratulations on taking steps to getting support! Therapy is a way to not feel so alone with our pain, change our thoughts and behaviors so they are more adaptive, and allow us to live in a more expansive way. I see you as the expert on you, and my role as an expert in healing, together we collaborate to get you where you want to be in life. Brain science, attachment theory (childhood relationship with our caregivers), and the context of our culture (as it intersects with our identities) are the lenses I use to strengthen your awareness, feel feelings, and heal. Laughter and peace are a necessary part of healing too! I am trained in art therapy, attachment-focused EMDR, Brainspotting, and "parts work," or Internal Family Systems, to work with the limbic area (where trauma is stored) of the brain in order to heal both "big T" and "little t" trauma. Studies have shown that in order to heal trauma and change thoughts/feelings/behavior body and brain based therapies are necessary.

As an art therapist and counselor, I utilize the process and product of art making to support individuals in discovering insight, moving toward growth, and finding balance. Art therapy can offer an alternative means of communication to express difficult emotions or experiences that may feel impossible to put into words. You do not have to identify as an artist to find healing through art therapy. Art making is always optional and no artistic skills or previous experience is needed. If you would like to learn more about what therapy might look like or how I can support you, please feel free to contact me.
I’m a licensed professional counselor working with individuals and couples. My style is laid back, collaborative, and incorporates evidence-based practices in an approach to healing, learning life skills, and self-discovery. I believe this leads us to live healthy, fulfilling, and meaningful lives. Working with both individuals and couples, my expertise lies in anxiety, divorce and relationship issues as well as working with those going through life transitions or interested in personal or professional growth. There are times in all of our lives where we are faced with a crisis of emotional, mental or spiritual unease and I believe we all have the capacity for healing and self-growth. When we find ourselves at these crossroads finding support in a safe and non-judgmental environment can be of great help. Wherever you are in your personal journey I understand it takes courage to reach out and I feel privileged and humbled to walk with you through that transition. My philosophy encompasses elements of both Gestalt and Existentialism and I seek to connect all facets of a person’s world (the family they grew up in, their gender, faith, culture, education, age, etc.) as I believe that each person has inherent worth and the capacity to grow toward personal fulfillment.
