I am here to help you weather the storm of your eating disorder, ODC, anxiety, body image distress, and/or whatever else you bring to the room. Through my own eating disorder recovery, and helping many clients find theirs, I have learned that no recovery journey is the same. Recovery is SO worth it, and I would be honored to help you navigate this process. I have experience working in both residential and outpatient eating disorder care, with queer and trans clients, and with both teens and young adults. I utilize techniques including DBT, CBT, and Narrative Therapy.
I love working with young people as they get to know themselves, embark on new opportunities, and grapple with difficult emotional and relational challenges. Sometimes people notice that unresolved grief or trauma comes up for them during a life transition and I am here to support. I offer a welcoming, non judgmental space to talk through what is coming up for you. Change and healing is hard and you shouldn't have to do it alone.
If you find your mind racing uncontrollably with thoughts of worry or stress, feel lost when going through big life changes, or are struggling to find motivation to complete your goals, you don't have to go through it alone. I am an empathic listener who wants to support your growth and healing. I offer help with anxiety and depression, healing past trauma and have training in EMDR.
Are you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected in your relationships? You don't have to navigate it alone, whether you're struggling with life transitions, the current political climate, complex emotions, or past experiences that continue to shape your present. Many people try to push through independently, seeking advice from friends, reading self-help books, or burying themselves in workâonly to find that the same patterns keep repeating. When nothing seems helpful, therapy can offer lasting change. As a therapist, I provide a compassionate, culturally sensitive space for individuals.
I am here to tell you that your body is not something that needs to be fixed. I consider myself to be a body inclusive therapist who specializes in helping clients recover from disordered eating behaviors, weight stigma, body image concerns and impacts from diet culture. I also serve clients experiencing depression and anxiety symptoms, family issues (such as divorce & addiction), adjustment issues, impacts from COVID-19 and trauma (such as intimate partner violence & sexual assault). I currently offer individual therapy for teens and adults.
I help adult individuals, youth and families navigate difficult times, process past traumas and become aware of unhelpful thinking patterns and habits. I have extensive experience assisting others in overcoming depression, PTSD, anxiety and trauma-based symptoms. I approach the therapeutic relationship with warmth, kindness, genuine curiosity and positive regard. I believe that the therapeutic relationship should be cooperative, honest and strength focused. This aligns with research on the subject showing that outcomes depend on a strong and genuine connection. I have been formally trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy (TF-CBT), family systems theory and collaborative problem solving (CPS). I hold a masterâs degree in counseling psychology and strive to continue my own education and personal growth.
Welcome! I have been practicing as a Mental Health Counselor for nearly 10 years, and it continues to be a privilege to support individuals through lifeâs many challenges. I am here to meet you exactly where you are and offer a space where you can grow, heal, and reconnect with your inner sense of peace. I offer free 20-minute consultation calls so you can get a sense of who I am and whether I feel like the right fit for your needs. I am a licensed psychologist who specializes in the treatment of anxiety disorders and relationship issues. Even more specifically, my specialty rests in helping women navigate the anxiety and overwhelm that arises when they think about saying no, setting boundaries, or expressing their true opinions. Many of my clients are exhausted from agreeing to things they donât want to do, staying in relationships out of obligation or fear, or managing a busy social life that leaves them feeling unfulfilled and ultimately disconnected. As an attachment-based therapist, I work with women to uncover the roots of these patterns in their relationships, helping them get grounded in their values and build the courage to show up authentically. My approach helps to create context for conditioned behaviors and beliefs so that clients find their voice, face the fear of speaking their truth, and experience the freedom of being unapologetically themselves and more aligned with their values. I take a holistic approach to treatment, combining somatic work, nervous system regulation, and relational therapy. My work also incorporates nutrition and movement to support overall wellness, empowering clients to align their physical, emotional, and relational health. I completed my applied graduate training at Portland State University's Student Health and Counseling Center as a psychologist intern and was employed there as a part-time psychologist before opening my private practice. My residency was completed at Reed College Health and Counseling Center and I have also had the wonderful opportunity to complete early field work training at University of Portland's Health and Counseling Center. I love working with college students and it is a joy to be able to provide students with the opportunity for longer-term psychotherapy.
I support adults navigating anxiety, chronic stress, burnout, grief, and life transitions. Anxiety can show up as racing thoughts, tension in the body, difficulty resting, or a persistent sense that something is wrong even when life looks fine on the outside. You do not have to manage this alone.
Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck in your head, struggling in relationships, or questioning who you are and where you're going, youâre not alone. College can bring a lot of pressureâacademically, socially, and internally. I offer a warm, confidential space where you can slow down, make sense of what you're going through, and feel more like yourself again. Together, weâll work to understand patterns that may be holding you back, build tools to manage stress and anxiety, and support you in developing a stronger sense of identity, confidence, and direction. My goal is to help you feel more grounded, more connected, and more able to navigate your life with clarity and self-trust.

Whether youâre feeling overwhelmed, working through a major life transition, or are simply looking for extra support, youâve taken an important first step by looking into therapy. I provide a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where we can work together to help you navigate challenges, strengthen coping skills, and move towards greater well-being. You deserve care that meets you where you are, and Iâm here to support you. As a mixed therapist, with White (Italian & Irish) and Indigenous (Mi'kmaq) ancestors, I know how hard it can be to find time for self growth and care while navigating oppressive systems. It can be even harder when we don't fit in a binary or see ourselves reflected in the spaces we live, work, or learn. I value cultivating a safe container for folks to bring all parts of themselves to, as I believe that it is in this space of truly relating as we are, that we may find the capacity for growth and change. I reserve a few sliding scale spots for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC clients who are committed to therapy, but are experiencing cost as a barrier to care. If you would like to request a reduce rate slot, please contact me for details and availability.
I see therapy as a place for people to be deeply understood and gently challenged to take action on what they value most. I use a collaborative, strengths-based approach to support what is already working for you, including your innate resilience and knowledge, while also targeting areas of struggle. I recognize that healing and change happen in the context of genuine, consistent, and intentional relationships, and strive to bring these things into therapy along with techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. I also deeply value feminist, queer, and liberation psychologies and draw upon these wisdoms to explore the struggle of being human from a social justice lens. Relatedly, my understanding of systems of oppression, and therefore my orientation to therapeutic practice, are informed by my identities as a White, Jewish, pansexual cisgender woman.
As your therapist, we will work together as I guide you towards an open mind and a more positive outcome. With compassion and empathy, you will find comfort and relief that you have met your goals and have new tools to face lifeâs challenges.

I often work with clients who struggle with anxiety and depressive disorders, historic and/or complex trauma, identity exploration, LGBTQ+ issues, BIPOC/POC issues, and life transitions. My approach is person-centered, emotion-focused, and integrative based on other therapeutic modalities (e.g., Mindfulness, ACT, Parts Work), and collaborate with my clients on what would work best for them and their needs.
