I help people feel better and improve their lives with music psychotherapy. If you are suffering from anxiety, depression, addiction or everyday stress with relationships, work or family. If you want a fluid and creative approach to therapy that helps you go deep to the core of your issues, I can help. I am particularly passionate about working with those who identify as LGBTQIA+, especially trans and GNC folx. In a world full of stigma, with so much pressure to conform to a heteronormative society, being trans or GNC can be an isolating and scary experience. I can help you on your journey to become your true self.
I’m a licensed therapist who works with adults and young adults navigating anxiety, stress, life transitions, and times when you just feel stuck or unsure about what’s next. I aim to provide a steady, supportive space where you can talk openly and feel heard without judgment. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting—therapy can be a place to sort things out as you go. I see therapy as a collaborative and practical process. My role is to listen, ask thoughtful questions, and help you better understand what’s getting in your way. Together, we’ll focus on what matters most to you and work toward meaningful, realistic change. I often use approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help you build tools you can actually use day to day—whether that’s managing stress, getting out of your own head, or feeling more confident in your decisions. We can take things at your pace, and there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. I began my career doing street outreach with individuals experiencing homelessness in Washington, DC. That experience shaped how I approach this work today—it taught me the importance of meeting people where they are, showing up consistently, and creating a space built on respect and trust. Outside of therapy, I enjoy going to the movies with friends, staying active, and spending time in the park. I also like trying new restaurants around the city.
Hi! If you’re seeking out therapy, then it’s likely you’re a little nervous. If so, take a deep breath! I’m here to create a space where you feel safe and supported as you share your personal story. In therapy we will focus on practical skills for addressing your symptoms and explore how your story of self has been shaped by both current and past relationships. I enjoy working with emerging adults, adolescents, and anyone eager to build a “life worth living.” I believe that in healing there is room for humor. And that my authenticity allows us to do great work together. When I’m not working I love going to the dog park and watching reality tv. If you’re interested, please reach out and we can schedule a free 15-minute phone consultation to see if we’re a good fit!
As a licensed mental health counselor dedicated to transforming patients’ lives, I work primarily with emerging adults (20- and 30-somethings) who are navigating life transitions, relational challenges, and low self-esteem, as well as symptoms of anxiety, depression, and OCD. This life stage comes with many unique challenges and transitions, so my mission is to assist you in identifying your patterns and strengths, while introducing strategies to help you move closer to your goals. In taking this relational approach, I also aid in setting boundaries and building secure attachment to allow for more meaningful relationships. In every session, I balance open-ended exploration of concerns with the introduction of tangible tools and skills to manage symptoms and reduce distress. Therapy is a collaboration, and I strive to meaningfully support you in ways that are tailored to your individual needs. I understand that starting therapy can be intimidating, which is why I offer a warm and compassionate space so you can bring your full self into sessions. My holistic, person-centered approach to care draws from various therapeutic modalities while remaining compassionate and recognizing the structural barriers to mental health. These modalities include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT), Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT), couples and group therapy, and attachment-oriented methods. A deep curiosity and care for people started me along the path to therapy. Working in a university career counseling center and volunteering with various social justice organizations fueled my desire to walk alongside people as they work toward their goals, while incorporating my passion for equity and justice. Mental health doesn’t exist in a vacuum, so I bring the awareness that numerous internal and external factors contribute. Outside the office, I love visiting museums and galleries, reading, cross-stitching, and listening to comedy podcasts. I also enjoy spending time outdoors and foraging – there are a shocking amount of edible plants, even in NYC!

Life is full of challenges, and sometimes we all need a little extra support to navigate them. As a Licensed Master Social Worker, my work is grounded in the belief that every person deserves compassionate, individualized care that meets them exactly where they are. Whether you're managing anxiety, working through a major life transition, navigating relationship difficulties, or looking to build confidence and resilience, I'm here to walk alongside you. My specialties span anxiety, stress management, relationship issues, self-esteem, and life coaching for adults, teens, and children alike. Alongside this, I bring dedicated expertise in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, learning disabilities, and language disorders. At the heart of everything I do is a commitment to advocating for the whole person and equipping you with the tools and skills you need to grow. I look forward to being a compassionate, consistent partner in your healing journey and witnessing the strength and resilience that comes from doing this meaningful work together. In our work together, you can expect a warm, safe, and nonjudgmental space where you are truly seen and heard. Therapy here is person-centered and strengths-based, designed to feel empowering rather than overwhelming, and always tailored to your unique needs, goals, and lived experiences. Drawing from a range of evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and psychoeducation, we'll work collaboratively to build meaningful skills and create lasting change. My style is flexible and collaborative, because no two people are alike, and your care shouldn't be either. My path to becoming a therapist grew was rooted in a simple but powerful belief that all people, regardless of age or background, sometimes need help and extra support. This belief has been shaped and strengthened across a range of settings, from higher education and hospitals to pediatric clinics, with each experience deepening my commitment to versatile, compassionate, and individualized care. Working across these environments, I've witnessed firsthand the profound impact that change can have, not only on an individual, but on everyone around them. That perspective informs every session. With an extensive background supporting individuals on the autism spectrum and experience across a broad range of developmental needs, I bring both professional expertise and genuine understanding to our work. No matter where you are in your journey, it is never too late to take that first step toward growth and healing. Outside of the therapy room, you'll find me staying active, whether that's out for a run or exploring new ways to move. I love trying new foods, discovering different cuisines, and getting creative through arts and crafts. These passions for movement, curiosity, and creativity carry over into how I approach my work with patients every day.

Life’s challenges can at times feel overwhelming, especially when anxiety, emotional pain, relationship difficulties, or uncertainty begin to shape how we relate to ourselves and others. In these moments, it can become difficult to feel grounded, connected, or aligned with the life we want to live. Therapy offers an opportunity to better understand these experiences and develop new ways of responding to them with greater awareness, flexibility, and intention. I provide therapy for adults, older adolescents, and couples navigating interpersonal, emotional, and psychological challenges. My approach integrates process-based and behavioral science principles, including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), to help individuals develop a different relationship with difficult thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I believe therapy should be collaborative, personalized, and responsive to the unique complexities of each person's life. I combine evidence-based care with a thoughtful and compassionate approach tailored to your individual goals and values. If you are seeking support or guidance to better understand your experiences, I welcome the opportunity to connect.

We are an excellent match for people who subscribe to non-traditional lifestyles and we specialize in working with the LGBTQ+ community. Our staff is expertly trained, multilingual, and diverse in experience and background. Psychotherapy lays the emotional groundwork that leads to a more happy and satisfying life. Many people think of psychotherapy, especially some kinds of traditional psychotherapy, as one-sided: the person in therapy talks and the therapist listens. But effective psychotherapy – therapy that heals – works because of the unique relationship that develops between the therapist and the person in therapy. I provide an environment that, because it is safe and non-judgmental, allows the person in therapy to open up in new and often unexpected ways and to experience and express his or her deepest thoughts and feelings. I use more than one therapeutic discipline, but my approach is ultimately tailored to the needs of the person I am working with. I help people become more emotionally self-aware so that they can experience greater self-esteem and satisfaction in life, better deal with depression, and cope with the anxiety that so often interferes with their sense of well-being. In addition to psychotherapy, I am a certified hypnotherapist and offer hypnotherapy to the people I work with. I am also available for hypnotherapy referrals as an adjunct from other clinicians. For safety concerns I am currently working online and by phone.
