Kim Hoover
I provide clinically grounded support to individuals, couples, and people of all backgrounds navigating relationship or personal challenges. My approach combines practical tools with a warm, nonjudgmental space to explore needs, strengthen connection, and build healthier, more fulfilling relationships. I meet people where they are and guide progress in a way that works for them. I take a direct, down to earth style and incorporate humor when it fits, helping you feel comfortable, understood, and motivated to make real change.
I focus on both your present concerns and the deeper experiences that have shaped you. In a supportive, collaborative relationship, we’ll explore patterns with curiosity and understanding, supporting your natural capacity for growth and greater self-awareness.
I have extensive experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in school-based, home-based, outpatient, IOP, MST, and partial hospitalization settings. I have worked with juvenile probation & men at a state prison for six years, addressing challenges such as sexual and violent offenses, domestic abuse, substance use, and related behaviors.
I am open and affirming of individuals of every background, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, and gender identity.
